    Great comparison actually, Texas King. Both from 1967 and both classics.
    I'll have to plump for Whiter Shade though. It's that legendary organ riff.

    That spoken word poem by Mike Pinder towards the end knocks Nights In White Satin down a notch for me. It gets a bit pretentious whenever The Moody Blues resort to them

    Pale is awesome but I actually like Conquistador better. Knights has the sheer weight of Moody Blues behind it.

    Aye, Whiter shade of pale - it's that hammond Organ that does it.
