Agree re: Sheila E. I've seen her twice, and she's great in concert!
Another gal drummer who is darned good is Hilary Jones, who was behind the kit for Robben Ford when I saw him a few years back. The kid who plays keys for Jimmy Kimmel's band was behind the Hammond B3 that night, too. You just never know who you'll see when you're out in Hollyweird.
