US progressive metal. How would you rate this album?

Not easy to listen to. But a bit better than good. 6.5

I agree with you somewhat ef. I did find parts a challenge to listen to. Overall I give it a 6. Prog/thrash metal. It was refreshing from the typical Dream Theater-esque prog/metal sound.
