A very tough choice:

Pink Floyd's Us and Them - From one of my favourite albums, Dick Parry provides great atmosphere, the lyrics are brilliant and it has a Rick Wright melody
Ringo's Photograph - has an indefinable 'something' in the melody, along with many other records of the early seventies AND he was a Beatle
No More Mr Nice Guy by Alice Cooper - from another of my favourite albums on which the band reached hard rock perfection
Sail On Sailor by The Beach Boys - unusually for the Beach Boys, a strong melody and lyrical hook take precedence over harmonies
Hocus Pocus - sheer dynamic brilliance from a great band and guitarist in Jan Akkerman

In the end, I voted for Pink Floyd, but on another day I may have opted for any of the above.
