Gonzo for me, but UFO Strangers in the Night would trump all of them in this poll.:hb:

I would have to say one of the greatest live albums ever released would have to be Johnny Cash "At Folsom Prison"

Aero & KISS were my first loves, but I went with Gonzo.

Recorded in the summer/fall of 1977 in Nashville, Abilene, Dallas, San Antonio, Seattle & Springfield (Mass.).

The raw energy of that album is just through the roof. It really captures the essence of a summer tour. Put on the headphones. Firecrackers going off, extended leads, it's what live music is all about. And you can almost feel the humidity.

And Ted's rapport with the crowds...

"This guitar is guaranteed to blow the b*lls off a charging rhino at 60 paces, it is..."

"I say I think, I think I say...I know there ain't nobody out there came to be mellow tonight, now didja?...."

"Now if you bear with me a couple decades, a couple light years, I'm gonna see if I can't let this one melt into your mouth..."

That's classic.

Aerosmith - Live! Bootleg

...totally captures the whole '70's vibe with the stadiums plus some club tracks thrown in. I stll have the vinyl. The poster... The liner notes... The collage of pictures on the gatefold...
