7" Vinyls are among the most fascinating type of collectibles around the planet.

Here, I'd like to create enjoyable reference thread of all the tunes that I find most definitive for the decade 1980-89, released as a singles in that format.
From heavy metal to light pleasant pop, this is the ultimate collection I would present for the eighties.

Why 345? (I started with 100 but soon realized that even 200 can't present well the decade and started aiming at the first interesting number above that - 333 or 345.)

I intend to post title by title chronologically (5-10 per day).
Hope you'll be positively intrigued and enjoy this initiative.

Note:
1. I emphasized the broadly released titles and I've tried to avoid songs released in a single country (with a few exceptions).
2. The "A" sides are mostly definitive in this initiative. There may be songs that appeared on "A" as well as on "B" side on another release.

3. Please don't be irritated if you don't see some of your favorites. I admit that I've neglected some genres that I find not so pleasant to listen to.
