    Guys I reattached the shaft and counter-weight using a small dose of industrial strength Loctite Super Glue. It has a firm hold and I can once again calibrate things to where they need to be. It's working great. If it ever breaks again, well I'll just have to look into replacing the tonearm I guess.

    I hope it's ok to post this in the Rock Lounge forum. Anyway, I have a problem with my beautiful vintage Pioneer PL-300. The tonearm counterweight has broken clean off :uh: I don't see any way to reattach it other than attempting to use super glue. But I doubt that is going to hold up well...

    I still buy an album from time to time. I sometimes use ebay and I have another online source that is great. There is an antique place here in town that has a lot of albums. I recently bought a few from there.
