    Guns N' Roses (Official Thread)

I can agree there being a couple of alright tunes...I always liked G n R(I even liked the Spaghetti Incident) and for myself it wasn't that it was an extreme chore to get through as much as none of the songs stuck with me and left me not much desire to go back to it

Review Max Webster - "The Party" (box set)

The one thing I forgot to mention is that the cd Boxset does not come with a booklet but the vinyl version does come with a nice booklet with rare photos from what I've heard... but it didn't matter much to me as this set is great

    The Glam Skanks!

They were very entertaining and a fun band to see but then again I tend to like bands that dress different and sometimes aren't taken serious by some like Kiss, New York Dolls, Very early Alice Cooper, Sensational Alex Harvey & then there are bands like the Dead Milkmen & Dread Zeppelin whom are...

    Ten Years After (Official Thread)

Great version...this is one song I'm hooked on.... Everytime I find a version of an artist covering it I always buy it! Love this song and Help me from this album is great as well. Ten Years after really makes cover songs their own. I've always been a big fan...got to see Alvin Lee open for...

Archival Kiss Photos Collected in New Book ‘Kiss: 1977-1980′

I actually bought this book...if you are a big Kiss fan than this book is definitely worth the money. I got mine through Amazon for $34 and it lists for $55. I can't say enough about the quality of this book as the quality is unreal. This is not your normal hard cover book. The quality of the...

    The Glam Skanks!

About a month ago my wife & I went out to see our friends band Governess play a show at a small club called the Mohawk in downtown Buffalo. Governess is a fun band to see... playing original music in the vein of Motorhead meets the Ramones meets Turbo Negro meets Johnny Thunders. On this night...

    The Dead Boys!

Cheetah Chrome & drummer Johnny Blitz are doing a 40th anniversary tour at clubs around the country...From what I heard the shows have been excellent. While there is only one Stiv Bators & no one could replace him the singer they currently have, Jake Hout, does do a great job(once again...there...

Wow...40 years ago...I'll always remember finding out...it was so unbelievable especially with Street Survivors just getting released... It took me a while to go out and buy the album... A couple months ago a local record/cd shop was closing & I actually picked up a best of the Rossington...

Review Blue Oyster Cult - Secret Treaties (1974)

Great review...I love those first 3 BOC albums but Secret Treaties is my favorite of the 3...I really love Harvester of Eyes. ME 262 is an all-time BOC tune (I love the live version on On Your Feet... that version really jams)... BOC is one band I listen to on a regular basis & are probably in...

    Review Foreigner - Foreigner (1977)

No they were not expensive back then...I think back then concerts happened to promote album sales. I know in 1978 I paid $6.50 to see Kiss plus there was a .50 service fee per ticket. I really love that first Foreigner record...actually I loved their first 3 records....I seen them in 79 with...

George Thorogood Bourbon Scotch Beer Lyric Help

Love TYA ... I really like their s/t album but I really love the songs Spoonful & Help me (If I see either tune on an album I tend to buy them...). YAY!!! I was hoping it was still coming out! Chuck Berry is probably my biggest influence on guitar.
