    Motorhead (Official Thread)

Get well Lemmy! I just picked up the Head Cat (Lemmy, Slim Jim Phantom, & Danny B)CD the other day & I can't stop listening to it. It's really Kick Ass Rock & Roll old style. Hearing Lemmy belt out "Bad Boy" & "You Can't Do That" by the Beatles, Shaking All Over by Johnny Kidd & the Pirates...

    Anyone remember these bands?

I listen to Krokus & Helix quite a bit also. I love Helix's cover of Crazy Elephant's "Gimme Gimme Good Lovin'" I was also heavy into Junkyard's debut & Babylon AD's debut when they first came out. I still enjoy Junkyard but haven't pulled out Babylon in years. One of my favorites from...

    Led Zeppelin (Official Thread)

I would love a good live(or demo if they ever made one) for "Train Kept a Rollin'" get an official release somewhere. They seemed to open with it a bunch of times. (...actually another selfish reason for me wanting this is because I love collecting different versions of the song!)

    Rod Stewart (Official Thread)

I'm hoping that the Jimi Hendrix cover song from that era is a studio version of "Angel". The Faces used to cover it Live & it appeared on the Faces' "Coast to Coast" live record. Great tune so I'm hoping

    Blue Oyster Cult (Official Thread)

Between Vinyl & CD I do have everything but on CD I don't have anything after Extraterrestial Live & I don't have 'On Your Feet...' or Spectres either on CD. The other thing I want from the box set is they have one disc that is a best of Radio Concert Broadcasts.

    Songs with awesome endings

My favorite ending to a song has to be "The Party" by Max Webster. I just love the sound of Kim Mitchell's guitar at the very very end (he may drag it out for a few seconds prior to the end) Hezj2afvMNg

    Blue Oyster Cult (Official Thread)

They just played a 40th anniversary show in NY & they played 2 sets. During the 2nd set Allen Lanier & the Bouchard Brothers joined them onstage. The last 2 times I saw them over the past 4 years and on their Long Days Night DVD they really jam the hell out of Last Days Of May & it is now one...

    Angel (Official Thread)

Yes, when I got it I bought it used from the mid range price back in the day which was $2.50. I dug it out a year or so ago & burned it on the computer so it's easy access for me for now.

    Angel (Official Thread)

Glad you enjoyed Bux! I still would love to learn more on how Angel was put together. Bux was your typical whiskey drinking hard rock act with some southern flavor in the mid 70's and Punky & Mickie formed Angel which (especially their first 2 albums) was mixing hard rock Glam with an almost...

    Giuffria (Official Thread)

I can't remember for sure so don't quote me but didn't he audition for Kiss after Ace left? I keep thinking That I may have read that somewhere (I know they chose Vinnie but I think Punky could've pulled that gig off too)

    Giuffria (Official Thread)

I have Giuffria & love it but then again I was a huge Angel fan. I wish Punky Meadows stuck with music. I did like Punky & Mickie Jones pre-Angel band Bux (with Ralph Mormon from Joe Perry Project)

    Cannibal Corpse Concert Review 5/10/2012

Really good review! I've got to say, I'm not a fan of the band (not meaning I hate them or anything I just don't really follow them or buy every album they put out) so why did I even check this review out??? Curiosity!!! I seen them a bunch of times in their beginnings here in Buffalo, NY...

Who is the band/artist you first recall hearing as a child?

My first band I recall in the mid-60's would have been the Chipmunks Also the Royal Guardsmen with the 3 Snoopy vs The Red Baron songs

I lost Kiss war says Peter Criss

As I said I do still love Kiss with Tommy & Eric but there will be nothing like the original 4. I always enjoyed his drumming & thought he was great. I don't know how true it is but I read that in the late 90's during the reunion era he had some kind of problem with his arm muscles which caused...

I lost Kiss war says Peter Criss

Of course, I wasn't working for Kiss nor do I have any inside sources but after the many many books, articles, & interviews I have read over the years I totally agree with Vehicle here. I have Peter's new book but am still in the early chapters so I'm curious on his views with everything but I...

KISS "The Casablanca Singles:'74-'82" boxset details revealed

You never know if they will in the future. Supposedly, that Alice Cooper Box set was going to be a once in a lifetime thing & once it was gone it was gone & now all of a sudden the 4 discs are being released as a set which is all I really wanted so 66 bucks is more reasonable than 269 bucks in...

Total agreement With Lynch & everyone else who agreed with him. I still never get tired of the album and it was one of those albums that I knew was going to be something special upon my first listen. Every track stood out and that says a lot for a debut. I also thought the band the Dogs D'Amour...

    AC/DC (Official Thread)

Great stuff! It was cool hearing their take on Messin' with the Kid. I always care about bands roots and there were so many times growing up in the 70's when I would like a song by an artist, check out the song writing credits, and next thing I know I'm discovering old blues and early rockers...

KISS "The Casablanca Singles:'74-'82" boxset details revealed

The Stones released a singles set a couple of years ago which is very much like the Kiss set. I bought that set & know I plan on getting the CD version of the Kiss set which is $145 dollars. If for some reason I can't afford it then I'll do with out. I'm a fan of Kiss and it doesn't bother me...
