    Best album of 1968

It was a great year, and we heard so much great works: The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Doors, Cream, The Turtles, Blue Cheer, The Kinks, The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Small Faces, Iron Butterfly, etc. But my favorite is A Saucerful of Secrets by Pink Floyd...

Power-metal anthem from their second LP. Excellent! 10/10.
  3. Hydrazoic Acid

    Best album of 1967

Of course, The Doors is untouchable classic, and St. Pepper is our "sacred cow" (and don't forget about mighty Stones with "Their Satanic Majesties Request"), but here I still prefer Pink Floyd's "The Piper at the Gates of Dawn"

Excellent hard rock, where explosive moments alternate with calm ones, clear riffs, legendary Glenn's vocals and, of course, cowbell. Pure power. 9/10.

Why is liking Jim Morrison more than Freddie Mercury wrong?

I think it's very subjective, but I like both singers. I'm a Queen fan, but I'm very sorry that Jim Morrison died so early. He could have been the best frontman in the history of rock music.

    Best album of 1965

Sure, The Beatles are great, untouchable and unattainable, but I also would like to mention these guys here.

    RIP Brian Wilson

A terrible loss. A great musician and composer. A man who inspired John Lennon and Paul McCartney, he clearly did something very important and worthwhile. Rest in peace, Mr. Wilson. :rip:

AIRBOURNE Releases First New Song In Six Years, 'Gutsy'

Great news! I'm very glad that they returned to the sound of "Black Dog Barking" (and the producer of this album Brian Howes also returned). To be honest, their last album "Boneshaker" was a disappointment for me - naked drive without melody doesn't work. And "Black Dog Barking" was filled to...

Ronnie James Dio vs Bruce Dickinson

Dio here. I love Bruce Dickinson, but Ronnie James Dio is beyond praise. One of the most distinctive and recognizable voices in rock music and one of my favorite singers at all.
