Was there an actual issue of Goats Head Soup with the Goat head cover that was banned on the inlay on vinyl? I swear when I was young my friends parents had it with that image on it somewhere.
Thanks for the info E-Z. You and Nai Noswad are a pool of info on the Stones. Love it.
I think there is some magic with the Stones that no matter how much you listen to them you find something new in the music that makes you enjoy them again and again throughout time.
Wow such hauls now would be rear I would think. Then again those off the beaten track shops you can find. I bet your collection and a lot of peoples I've seen on here would be worth quite a bit. But like you said the vinyl is to be listened to and getting my new turntable and listen to the 180g...
Love the Organ in this:
Rolling Stones - Let It Loose.
Ride pretty much took loads from the Stones for their Carnival Of Light album. The kids choir on "I don't know where it comes from" is direct nod to "You Can't Always Get What You Want". Even the fish eye photo for the cover.
Organ here:
lol yeah it's crazy. Unless they have some sort of stairs carved inside.

Yes I think it's just that. They all complained when Taylor left though didn't they. Knowing it was a great creative period for them.
And Ronnie is a good painter too isn't he :D
Didn't they almost bully Bill out at one point early on?
Just read this older Keef interview:https://www.independent.co.uk/news/people/profiles/keith-richards-being-keef-306495.html
"And Brian? Is it all just too long ago now?
"Brian could be the most frustratingly obnoxious, nasty person. Which he never was until the minute we had a hit record. It...
Interesting funny thing I recently found out. I was born on what they call "The Sagittarius-Capricorn Cusp" (December 18 to 24.) and so is Keith Richards. :flirt lol
Didn't they also do that to Jone who at first had a go at song writing himself and they would ignore it? I'm also sure Alexis Korner warned Jones when he was forming the band to take either Jagger or Richards but not both or he would lose the band.
I read the Jones estate wasn't very much either. Also read in the Jones biog that the flowers comp. The cover. Jagger and Richards over saw that and made sure Jones got no leaves meaning a cruel dig at the lack of contribution and if you notice Bill has tiny leaves.
I think they were. From wiki:
"We'd go down to the sessions and have to pack up because we were too stoned. Nobody could get anything right. We were all over the place. Everybody was playing a different thing." "With Never Say Die!, we were down on our luck", Osbourne reflected to Spin...
