"Chittlin Supper" has pronounced, steady static start to end. Mandolin comes through very clear, though. Vocals are very hard to make out but I think it's more because of a bad recording.
"Monkey Man Blues" is similar but not nearly as bad, and the vocals are much easier to hear.
So, nothing...

My very first pre-war blues record: Peg Leg Howell, from 1929.
It's pretty rough... very rough. I found it at the thrift store with no sleeve. It's got some flecking at the edges, but as there is no lead-in groove on this 78, that has no adverse effect on how it plays.
