I really like his 1950's output, esp. "In The Wee Small Hours", "Where Are You?", and "No One Cares".
I totally go for torch songs... these three albums are full of them.
I often find Frank Sinatra albums in the thrift stores, and most of what I find are in really great shape,
and I mean really good... like the record looks brand new.

No, actually less specific. The old place (and also my other forums) have an option to view the posts (in threads) in order of oldest-to-newest, or newest-to-oldest. I always have threads list newest-to-oldest. Never made sense to click on a thread title and be greeted by the same 6-year-old...

I always ask people "early or later '80's?" when they are talking about 80's music, as the earlier half of the decade is
very different from the later half.
I too, prefer the early 80's. Digital as opposed to analogue seems to be my issue. I like rock and heavy metal...
