@Delilah To be honest..I like both…as far as vocals go. However, David Lee Roth was the better frontman.

Sammy was a better vocalist for the group, but I much prefer the band with Roth's showmanship and frontman skills and the overall hard rock sound rather than the more 80s sound with Hagar.
Agree with Magic on the debut... Definitely one of the most quintessential debut albums of music, all time.

It's too different style singers for me. I like Early Roth like their first 3 albums.. Sammy with Halen.. Things changed and Sammy with say Chickenfoot is more like his style..
