:grinthumb What a great thread, CH!! I completely missed this but I'm glad it caught my eye today. I'll have my list posted sometime today. (yes, I know I'm scooting under the wire of your month long rule :uh:)

I'll be back...:D

:oyea: Honestly, LG, this has to be one of the best phrases of all time, and I can kinda' hear you saying it, in a very deep voice. True??

^^^ I see Sox is trying to pull a fast one by entering 20!! :heheh:

I'll be back with my list, but most of my favourite bands don't have many fans here, so will never make it into the final results list :wa

Same here, Tray. I have some favs who might be mine alone. And frankly my favorite list changes again and again as I learn of new bands that I can't get enough of. Even ones that were around and popular but I just wasn't exposed to them (yes...small town, Catholic high school, small women's Catholic college, :lmao: --- very sheltered musically!! :oyea:)

Cosmic: how much time is left on this? I just took a glance at my list and I may possibly rearrange one or two, including maybe dropping one off and replacing it.

It was hard for me to come up with just 15 and also hard on the order with the exception of #1. But I guess this would be the final.

There is no official date as of now but when I decide to close it I'll give two or three weeks forewarning.

The top five are pretty much set in stone.

1. AC/DC
2. Motorhead
3. Metallica
4. Lynyrd Skynyrd
5. Led Zeppelin

The next five less so, but in what order?

6. Black Sabbath
7. Iron Maiden
8. Crazy Cavan and the Rhythm Rocker
9. ZZ Top
10. Kid Rock

And the final five could probably be changed with other bands not in this list.... depending on what mood I'm in.

11. Free
12. Peter Greens Fleetwood Mac
13. Saxon
14. Rammstein
15. The Beatles
