You're going to have to forgive me about my Radiohead recording being recorded as one track,it was my 1st attempt at doing this,I just wanted to see what way it'd turn out,it's no hassle I will just send a request to the people I trade with, they will send me the proper boot of the show.
You posted a thread here on the forum asking about bootlegs and if anyone had anything worth adding to your collection,I have a few bootlegs so I decided to take the time to list my boots(something that you haven't even acknowledged let alone commented about),it seems to me that you are more interested in picking holes in my replies than what boots I may have.

Sorry that it seems that way... I guess you could of mentioned it was your first attempt at this.. no matter as long as its a clean strong digital recording.. you can do whatever, whenever you want to it later, or let somebody worry about that and can be more anal then I when it comes to something like this to get the best.

Hell If I can find it again, I can send you a PM of something thatll help you do it yourself if your time is permitting and anything in the future as well..I lost count of all the stuff Ive ripped, whether its bootleg or pirated.. dont give a rats ass... I now have a copy of it... Ive ripped alot of DVDs... but you know if its not (how can you guess in the future it will be) not available as "official" CD, I suppose its a bootleg. For example Emerson, Lake and Palmer Live at Montreaux.. with no official CD to be released any time soon. But like I said your spitting a "RCH" between it being a bootleg and piracy. It doesnt matter as far the RIAA is concerned unfortunately.

Yeah, most certainly I really do see quite a few on your list that I wouldnt mind having on my iPod.. BUT... I see more for other people that I have in mind that would more then likely go completely nuts in having a copy of..namely the Beatles and Van Halan (if its david lee roth stuff). I ran across a youtube audio of van halan doing a sugarloaf tune, I ripped that (I mean from youtube NOT the original track... tho I wish I did actually),, Id go for zeppelin...

You know, what it boils down to that the fact is... theres TONS of bootlegs out there and my exposure to it is still quite virgin (so to speak).. I know theres a very long list of artist that I would love to have... but is there such a copy, where was it done, how it sounds etc...etc...etc... The only thing Ive seen that IS, is on youtube... and alot of them are less then stellar.. even if it the only thing available makes me wonder... yes, no... if so.. will it grow on me and learn to love it or just throw my hands up and say... it I have a copy and that will be that... But what am I hearing.. is it an actual bootleg,, this sounds great, I guess really picking out a true bootleg recording will take some time.

anybody ever seen a boston bootleg?

if so what are they like live?

I have two Boston shows from 1976-1977. The 1977 show is excellent in sound and performance. Don't know if I've listened to the 1976 show.:blush2: Just listened to the 77 show again. You got me curious. Brad Delp struggling with the vocals at times where he has to hit the high notes. Still a great show.

For whatever reason I only have a few bootleg CDS though have a good amount of bootleg videos and dvds as well as store bought ones. Though most of my videos I've converted to dvd.

I started collecting years ago (pre youtube) and in the beginning had to buy though later on found people on the internet to trade with.

here's a link to my website :

if anyone is interested in Pink Floyd boots/roio's, there was good conversation going on in the Pink Floyd thread a week or so ago.

Apart from the 150 or so Pink Floyd boots that i have, i also have a pretty good size collection of other bands such as:

Slayer
Rush
Dire Straits
Ozric Tentacles
Kevin Ayers
Metallica
Dave Brubeck
Benny Goodman
Gong
Joe Satriani
Joe Walsh
Leo Kottke
Simon and Garfunkel
Type O Negative
Van Halen
Ween
Yonder Mountain String Band

there's more I just can't remember them all right now.:D

It's a shame the Van Halen shows from the original lineup pretty much all sound like crap. I have a couple good sounding shows but they are pre Van Halen I and one from London 1978 that sounds good. The US Festival show sounds decent as well.

Agreed. The best thing i've found from VH is the Warner Demo Tapes. 90% of that is extremely listenable. The other 10% sounds like *****.
