I really love the opening riff on 'China Grove' by the Doobie Brothers, something about that songs makes me want to get into a car and drive on the highway or something, lol.

What's your picks? There has to be more out there.
Have I ever said how much I DESPISE the song Carouselambra by Led Zepplein? I'm half tempted to put them in because of that....but I've honestly never understood why people liked Bon Jovi as much as they do....
Even though he isn't even near classic rock, Gerard Way from My Chemical Romance is a prime example- he sounds like crap live, because in the studio he can hit like soprano notes because he was technical aids and repeated tries to get it sounding great...but live he sings like 2 octaves lower...

So I have to say, these guys are some of the best musicians I have seen for a long time. Everything about their mellow, folkish "baroque pop" sound is beautiful.

They are seriously my favorite...
I have a feeling this is going to have a lot of beatles on it...xD
1. Strawberry Fields- The Beatles
2.More Than A Feeling- Boston
3. Sympathy for the Devil- The Rolling Stones
4. Hung up on a Dream- The Zombies
5. A Day In the Life- The Beatles
6. Little Wing- Jimi
7. Me and Bobby...
I listen to Boston quite religiously! I found a vinyl of the first record (the one with more than a feeling on it, dunno if that's the first) , but I brought it home and it had a huge chunk missing out of the middle. I was so mad. xD
Country Joe and the Fish.
EDIT:
...and what am I talking about, they were a 60's protest band. My god.
And the Zombies, even though they were like 1967, 1968, whatever. They still don't nearly any of the credit they deserve.
