I have x3 copies of The Crazy World Of Arthur Brown on cds on Polydor records. Vaguely remember seeing Arthur Brown on TOTPs back in 1968 the dude looked crazy with flames coming off his head!!. Ha ha ha...

Yeah, the dude was pretty nuts. I always used to freak out as a kid watching the video for Fire and thought the flames would trail down his body!! But I think he had some massive metal piece on his head as well..

I suppose I should have called him Arthur Brown rather than a dude plus he's still alive I believe ha ha ha...

You can definitely hear Vincent Cranes keyboards on the Arthur Brown album from 1968.

You can definitely hear Vincent Cranes keyboards on the Arthur Brown album from 1968.

I consider Crane to be one of the best keyboardists ever... His work with Hammonds is legendary. Sadly, he had bipolar disorder, and I believe he committed suicide in '89.
