We used to have a lot of music shows over here, old grey whistle test, top of the pops, the tube, ready steady go amongst others.

Oddly we use to have a couple metal shows that were on MTV (I think) that were decent.......Headbangers Ball and That Metal Show. Of course, there have been numerous Docu-series and specials such as "I Like the 80's" and Metal Evolution. But as far as a GOOD rock TV talk show, I can't think of any.

Seasick is awesome, i have four of five records and bootlegs of his. There is one where he tells his origins. He said his dad hung leather razor sharpening belts on his brothers and his bunk beds for handy beating, and one day beat him and threw him out the second story window. After describing this he plays an awesome riff and then says "The window was closed at the time". Then he says as he is laying there in the glass in his yard at age 13 "I decided at that point to hit the road". What a ****ing guy, I learned about sterno and grocery stores having a warm place to live in the winter by the fridge exhaust and they throw away barely spoiled fruit. His music is heartfelt and very passionate. It's awesome he built a career from the gutter.

We do have a PBS (Public Broadcast) show called Austin City Limits that has been around for 40 years. It started out as country music but now has other genres, too. The show is OK, nothing spectacular.

However, the ACL Festival in Austin Texas is super popular. It is in the fall and runs for two weekends. The first weekend is already sold out! 3 day tickets cost $300 USD.

I'm going to keep this short the new album is awesome

Do you mean "Sonic Soul Surfer" or "Keepin' The Horse Between Me And The Ground", which is not officially being released until October 7th?

Either way, you can always count on Steve to deliver the goods. I'm looking forward to the new one!

Actually, there are quite a few videos from the new album on YouTube.......enough that you can get a "sense" of how good the album will be :)
