Jethro Tull is my all time favorite musical artist band. They have such a distinctive sound to their music. My favorite album they released is Songs From The Wood and that is also my favorite song as well. I was lucky enough back in my 20's to see them live and they sure left a great impression. I played the flute starting in the 4th grade all the way through high school and in my later years I wished I could play like him.

Well I will see Ian and co in a few weeks at A New Day Festival in Kent, strange to see Mr Martin Barre band on the same weekend, would be nice if they played together but I can't see it.

Anyway it will be good to see them again still playing great tunes.

Ian Anderson is playing a "Best of Jethro Tull" show in Athens on October 1st.

If time permits, I'll definitely go!

Great Band

I love Jethro Tull. They are one of my top ten favorite bands. I would have liked to see them during the Bursting Out tour in 1978. My friend has the album on Vinyl. Did anyone out there get to witness that?

My favorite Jethro Tull album is Living In The Past.

They're a great band. I didn't get to see them on the Bursting Out tour, but they came to our neck of the woods for the 25th Anniversary tour. Great memories of a great concert :grinthumb
