Their first. Maybe 2 or 4, too, I dunno. Yeah - the first one. All day.

1. "Good Times Bad Times"
2. "Babe I'm Gonna Leave You"
3. "You Shook Me"
4. "Dazed and Confused"

Side two

5. "Your Time Is Gonna Come"
6. "Black Mountain Side"
7. "Communication Breakdown"
8. "I Can't Quit You Baby"
9. "How Many More Times"

Thanks to my older sister, it was one of my earliest introductions to music, so has a special place in my heart, and it has When the Levee Breaks, my favourite LZ song.

For me it's a tie between Led Zeppelin I and In Through the Out Door. I pick Zeppelin I because of how heavy and complex it was for its time. Sometimes, I listen to Dazed and Confused and forget that it came out in 1969. That alone amazes me and makes me put it as their best. Every single song off that album is great (something not uncommon for Zeppelin).

I pick In Through the Out Door as well because while there are some weak songs on the album itself (Fool In the Rain/Hot Dog) there are some incredible ones. My favorite is I'm Gonna Crawl. All of My Love is amazing too when you learn that Robert wrote it for his dead son Karac. It was crazy that the album was actually made since it was just JPJ and Robert putting it all together while Jimmy was on heroin and Bonham was drinking constantly.

Tough question for me as Zep is my favourite band of all time. Love all their albums.

If not limited to studio albums I'd go with The Song Remains the Same soundtrack. Epic versions of epic songs. One hell of a concert.

Of the studio albums chalk up another vote for Physical Graffiti.

My first Zeppelin LP (when I was still a kid) was the classic untitled fourth album. It was then and still is a masterpiece, both sides totally solid all the way through. My second album was II, which I grew to love even more overall (The only song I don't like is Thank You, which I view as the Yin eye in the Yang fish). After that I got all the rest of the albums and have been a huge Zeppelin fan ever since. It changes, but I currently rank the studio albums as follows:

II
IV
I & III (tie)
Houses of the Holy
Physical Graffiti
Presence
Coda
In Through The Out Door

Immigrant Song is one of my favorites, the opening track on Zeppelin III.

Thanks for the heads up. I found the discography and that album has 2 more totally cool tracks, Gallows Pole and Bron-Y-Aur Stomp. That band was seriously progressive.

Physical Graffiti for me, and by a lonnnnnnnnnnnng way - it's one of my Top 10 albums by anyone, not just Zeppelin, apart from that stupid 'Boogie With Stu' thing which sounds like they taped it down at the local pub after 15 pints of beer in between sessions for the main album, to me Graffiti is just a flawless work of art.
