^^ Have you heard the new album yet?

It took me a little longer to get into it than the previous one, but somewhere down the line, I think it could turn into my favourite Halestorm album!

I've only listened to the new album. It was actually really really good. I heard about them from a Pandora commercial advertising their new album. I am completely against new bands, absolutely hate them. I think Halestorm has made me become more open to these new bands.

Well, I hope Halestorm helps you open your mind to new bands then. I'm also generally more into older bands, but once in while a damn good band pops up. Try to stay open-minded my friend!
I used to be like that too so I get where he's coming from but over time being pigeon holed gets boring and you want to listen to new stuff. There is great new music out there don't just go by the mainstream. It takes effort to find good stuff.

^^^^^^^ I totally agree with RiffRaff. If I hadn't had the spirit of looking for new stuff, I'd be still stuck to listening to Elvis....I moved on, but Yes, it was really tough sorting out the good stuff from the mediocre stuff. It takes guts and curiosity to listen to songs others don't even care to know about. However, I can safely say that most 'commercial' stuff out there is rubbish...you have to dig further to find the real deal. Record sales do not necessarily make good music.

Have not seen this tread before, but I like their album 'Into The Wild Life' and their self-titled album from 2009 as well!

My daughter got me interested in these folks several years back. Excellent band. I figure it was a payback for her liking the Scorpions. One thing I did find disturbing in the video was th guy smashing the guitar. I really dislike that.
