There’s been no official word on whether the Rolling Stones will be touring North America this year. But as rumors pick up speed, a tasty new one has entered the mix: The band will reportedly perform Sticky Fingers in its entirety.

According to Song Mango, the group is close to announcing more than a dozen tour dates for this summer. And it looks like it will be playing all of 1971′s classic Sticky Fingers at each tour stop.

Reportedly, the tour will launch on May 24 in San Diego and will probably include stops at Los Angeles’ Hollywood Bowl, in Milwaukee (on June 22) and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on July 4. Song Mango also notes that Colorado, Buffalo, Pittsburgh and New York stadiums and amphitheaters will most likely be part of the itinerary, as will some Canadian cities.

The Stones last played in the U.S. and Canada two years ago as part of their 50 & Counting Tour. The group’s most recent shows were in New Zealand and Australia last year as part of the same 50th-anniversary celebration.

Last month, Ronnie Wood revealed during an interview that the Stones would be returning to North America this summer. Even though the band itself has yet to announce the news, it’s certainly beginning to look like something will be made official soon.

Won't believe it 'till I see it. Can Mick and Keith even remember a song like Sway or I Got The Blues??

But if this happened, that would be so beyond spectacular. I would flip, flip flip flip flip flip!! Sister Morphine, Dead Flowers, Can't You Hear Me Knockin', so many of the Stones best tracks that'd never be played otherwise. Honestly this is probably their best album and if they do play it all on this tour that would make my week.

Mick Taylor has been touring with them, but he's only been playing "Midnight Rambler" & "Satisfaction"

so yeah I can't see them playing "Sticky Fingers" with Taylor on the sidelines.

Wouldn't mind seeing this if the tour hits NYC, provided tickets aren't in the 'take a 2nd mortgage out on the house' territory that they were on the last tour - be great to hear the band playing one of their countless classic albums, instead of the usual 'Greatest Hits' type of thing.

Pretty good setlist but where's the Sticky Fingers? I at least expected more than one album cut! Heck, no Dead Flowers, Sister Morphine?
