Alot of these gals have similar voices since Joplin, but I always hear more Melanie. But it has nothing to do with any of these singers being new and current...this was always happening in the 70's and 80's as well.

Stevie Nicks and Edie Brickell are two examples off the top of my head with this type of style.

I was already a fan of the prior covers (Kid Cudi, Metallica, Lady Gaga) but the two new ones are equally great! I love the Nick Cave cover! Checking out the original now!

I think "Oh Mississippi" is probably her best vocal performance. Every time the track comes up, I have to click repeat a couple of times.

Very good pick man! My favorite track is still Record Collector from that album but the last track definitely slows it down and shows her range!

Can't believe it's already been a couple of years since the last one and guess what, there's a new one on the way...

Lissie is set to enhance our record collection once more as she announces details of her fourth record Castles.

The follow-up to My Wild West, Castles is set to feature thirteen tracks including ‘Peace’, ‘Meet Me In The Mystery and ‘Blood And Muscle’. The latter track is Lissie’s latest single and can be listened to via Youtube below.

The fourth LP from Lissie is set to be available to purchase from March 23, 2018.
