With lovers, buggers, & thieves.
I like being limited to just two per year, as it makes me really think about what I have and like (and how much I like!) but crap! This was hard! :pullhair:

I excluded live and best-of albums, and stuck with just brand new product for each year. :flirt

1970:
1) Black Sabbath - Black Sabbath
2) In The Wake Of Poseidon - King Crimson

1971: ( I could not believe how many remarkable albums came out in '71! )
1) Led Zeppelin IV - Led Zeppelin
2) The Yes Album - Yes

1972:
1) Prologue - Renaissance
2) Close To The Edge - Yes

1973:
1) Sabbath, Bloody Sabbath - Black Sabbath
2) Dark Side Of The Moon - Pink Floyd

1974:
1) Red - King Crimson
2) Heart Like A Wheel - Linda Ronstadt

1975:
1) Born To Run - Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band
2) Force It - UFO

1976:
1) Rising - Rainbow
2) Night Moves - Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band

1977:
1) Bat Out Of Hell - Meat Loaf
2) Rumors - Fleetwood Mac

1978:
1) Infinity - Journey
2) Van Halen - Van Halen

1979:
1) Evolution - Journey
2) John Cougar - John Cougar

Very nice lists @Sox & @Speed King

Was hoping you guys would chime in :grinthumb

Everyone here has legitimate lists obviously...very subjective. But I though that @Black Dahlia also had some great picks .

Nope, not at all,....it's more about our frustration at only being allowed to list X amount of albums or songs per year or whatever,...I do the same thing as you,....what I did just now was my way of sneeking more great albums in without being obvious about it,....I can't list just one or two great albums from 1971 or 1972,.........1982,...maybe.....

BTW,...I love your sig pic,...I have that one in my archives as well.

^^ Hard to pick just two from each year, so many blinding albums. I had to pull hard on the brakes and still couldn't help but list a few at times ?
