I haven't had a chance to let it soak in, but one thing I'm quite sure of...I'm very disappointed with Suspicious Minds.

She is sooo gifted, but this cut is really blah, with no real spike or edge or inflection throughout. She just kinda sleepwalks through the song.

Haven't bought any new music in awhile but I bought this book yesterday...

Me too! I read the kindle free sample and figured, what the heck, why not?

Then, 5 minutes later, I remembered why not.

My obsessive ways, in very short order, forced me to also buy Gene's, Peter's and Ace's. (oddly enough, Peter's was only 2.99, while the others were in the $10 range.)

But, it all worked out, because I concocted a plan...

I read Paul's up until all 4 original members were in place, then I stopped.

I plan on doing the same with each.

Then I'll progress through the years, getting a view from all sides of The Great American Saga we all know as KISS.

Pretty good idea, if I do say so myself.

My Mercury Living Presence pressing of Aaron Copland's "Appalachian Spring", I'm always stunned by how good these old recordings are, this one was recorded before I was born, bought this copy on Soundstage Direct a couple years ago...fabulous.
