Simple! Just talk about an artist that either opened your ears to another artist that you got into just as much if not more after being introduced through a cover, mention, listed influence, etc.!

I'm becoming more and more of a Nick Cave fan everyday and it started with this exceptional cover by artist Lissie of "The Ship Song"!

Lissie-The Ship Song

After that I looked up Nick Cave followed by listening to the whole "The Good Son" album which I had an instantaneous liking too! :grinthumb Since I've been listening to artist discographies I've started the Nick Cave one and already have a new favorite off of his first album with "Shivers". My love for this artist is slowly expanding more and more and it comes from a cover from a newer artist that I'm also obsessed with even though the two artist aren't even that much alike. :grinthumb

^^You know more about Nick Cave than I do Sooty...never dug into his music even though I've run into quite a few fans of his over the years in music forums.

I always get him mixed up with Nick Drake for some reason.:bonk:

Too tired to think of any right now, but I might have something tomorrow morning when I'm at my peak.

You'll have to wait but my footprint is in here for now at least.:D

After listening to "Black Mountain Side" from Led Zep I, I read up about the tune and got interested in Bert Jansch. Jimmy was a huge fan of Bert's guitar work.

Which in turn led to me getting into John Renbourn and on to Pentangle.

Cheers Jimmy. :grinthumb
