When you need to punk out, these fellows will get you there, oh yes they will, heeee, heeeee! I can speak from personal experience here. I had the fortune/misfortune to see - and hear - these fellows "perform" live at the New Yorker Theater on Yonge Street in Toronto when I was a callow youth, but already cynical, youth in 1977. It took me years to fully recover from the experience. So trust me when I say that these fellows are the real deal.
For you sceptics out there, here's exhibit one:
Need more evidence? Well then here are exhibits two and three:
Young, Loud and Snotty
"Sonic Reducer" (David Thomas, Cheetah Chrome) – 3:05
"All This and More" – 2:49
"What Love Is" – 2:08
"Not Anymore" – 3:38
"Ain't Nothin' to Do" – 2:25
"Caught With the Meat in Your Mouth" – 2:06
"Hey Little Girl" (Bob Gonzales, Don Baskin) – 3:01
"I Need Lunch" – 3:36
"High Tension Wire" – 3:05
"Down in Flames" – 2:15
"Not Anymore/Ain't Nothin' to Do [medley]" – 7:15
We Have Come for Your Children
"3rd Generation Nation" (Stiv Bators) – 2:35
"I Won't Look Back" [Jimmy Zero) – 2:16
"(I Don't Wanna Be No) Catholic Boy" (Bators) – 2:42

"Son of Sam" (Zero) – 5:10
"Tell Me" (Mick Jagger, Keith Richards) – 2:37
"Big City" (Kim Fowley, Steven T.) – 3:03
"Calling on You (Bators, Cheetah Chrome, Zero) – 3:29
"Dead and Alive" (Bators, Chrome) – 1:48
"Ain't It Fun" (Chrome, Peter Laughner) – 4:34
Here's a splendid write up on the band from Barnes & Noble (a sight better than these punks deserve methinks):
Dead Boys Biography
And here's the Dead Boys' personnel (if you can call them that of course):
Stiv Bators - lead vocals
Jimmy Zero - guitar, background vocals
Johnny Blitz - drums
Cheetah Chrome - guitar, background vocals
Jeff Magnum - bass
For those of you who can still stomach more, here are video clips of a couple of their more savage assaults on the sensibilities of the music loving public. (Don't say I didn't warn you.)
Now if you have any complaints, take them elsewhere because you won't get much of a hearing from me, punk.
