^^That's almost a year to wait Sweaty...but nothing like getting good seats early.:oyea:

I was going to order a new vinyl copy of Tormato...it's being released on 180 gram vinyl by "Friday Music", but my friend Richard who owns Free Cloud records doesn't like that company. They are a front for a Mafia run music distributor, and they don't always use the master tapes to press a record...still a new copy of Tormato would be great to have and 2 of the 4 Friday Music albums I bought 2 years ago are okay and sound fine, but the other 2 sound like they've been transferred from CD.:hm:

Maybe just keep my eyes open for a better used vinyl copy instead.

Yeah sounds good, they sound good on vinyl, I have waited a while before taking the plunge and replacing my vinyl with CD and picking up the ones I don't have. I thought I would buy a ticket now as they may sell out and I would be left with a seat behind a pillar or something like that:heheh:

I have liked the first two albums with Tony Kaye on keys for years, just lately however they have grown on me more and more. I've really got into the sound again even though the vinyl records are as old as I am. To me the line up blended really well and Bruford is just unreal on the skins, makes it look so easy. For me Yes excelled from the off.

I see You

^^Hard to remember Tony was ever in the band after Wakeman arrived but when I do revisit early Yes I am always impressed, they had something special from the very beginning as you said Old Ent.:hab:

Chris Squire will always be my favorite Rock and Roll bass guitarist, he always struck me a as lead guitarist who happened to play bass.:grinthumb

It's a much more jazzy style thanks to Peter Banks (and Bruford). A lot of times it's what I'm more in the mood to hear even though I really dig everything up to and including 90120.

^^^ Yeah I really like that jazzy side they had.

LG ... I agree Chris Squire is one of my favourite bass players. As you say he uses it as a lead instrument at times and Yes are worth seeing live just to catch him on a roll. :D

You should see the interview where he talks about meeting Hendrix. It is hilarious.
