Alex Lifeson is my personal favorite. I'm not trying to say he is technically the best just that his work resonates with me more than any other.

Ok Anthem at your request - Off goes Pete Townshend and on goes Yngwie Malmsteen. Hope this doesn't change votes too much. Sorry for this.

I couldn't get it out of my head & I was tied between Ace Frehley & Tony Iommi. It was driving me crazy trying to pick between the 2. Then I felt that I almost had to go with Tony Iommi as he's the "King Of Metal." Considering all of that, the vote was then easy. I decided to go with the Blues & easily chose the late, great Stevie Ray Vaughan.:cheers2

It is such a shame that we lost him in that tragic accident. He was truly one of the most talented guys to ever pick up a six-string. RIP SRV.
Some of the greatest &/or most influential musicians seem to unfortunately leave us all too early...

1. John Lennon. (THE BEATLES)

2. Kurt Cobain. (NIRVANA)

3. Cliff Burton. (METALLICA)

4. Michael Hutchence. (INXS)

5. Michael Jackson. (MICHAEL JACKSON)

6. Layne Staley. (ALICE IN CHAINS)

7. Eric Carr. (KISS)

8. Bon Scott. (AC/DC)

9. Danny Whitten. (NEIL YOUNG)

10. Randy Rhoads. (OZZY OSBOURNE)

There's no doubt about it that I believe that Stevie Ray Vaughan would've been able to offer us even more great music (just like all the other artists I listed above) for years to come. Nothing can replace great music & great people.
