The band w/ the better name?

I have to give Aerosmith the notch up on this one. Afterall, this was a word some kid, Joey Kramer, made up in high school. It has no meaning....except to define a band of greatness

Aerosmith. Not only is it creative to use a word meaning something is well dynamic with something plain and old fashioned but together it has a flow to it that forms an entirely new word. I've always loved this bands name.

Another band name I've always thought was really cool was Rush. A simple 4 letter word that rolls off the tongue and could be taken in different contextes of which some of them match the bands attitude toward music.

None of these bands really make me go "Oh yeah that is a great name." but I think Jane's Addiction would be the best of the bunch. It's an edgy name with a dark side.

Alice In Chains though for a while when I wa a kid, I thought it was Alison Chains
