I haven't given the album a listen yet, so I wont say anything bad about it.

As far as the vocals go on the song posted, I have heard worse.........

That's one of the better songs on the CD. Most of the vocals sound pretty wimpy IMO. Personally not into wimp-rock myself

Personally found the Steve Harris album to be a big disappointment ...not liking the vocals at all.

Yeah. I played this once and that was enough. not much to like here.

I gave it two listens and decided I was being WAY too open minded to give it that second go..

I'm curious. How much of this negativity is because it's bad, and much is a subconscience 'it's not Maiden' mindset.

Let's face it... the comparisons are going to happen. Darn near anyone is going to seem wimpy when lined up alongside Bruce, you know?


Steve said it wasn't going to be Maiden. I liked it ok enough.

Holy cow. The guy doessound wimpy on this track. Because it's a Maiden cut, and you can't help but imagine Bruce doing the vocals.




Lesson for the day: Never believe Steve Harris when he says it's not Maiden
