I don't think I've ever seen this before. (if I did, I don't remember it) KISS in Australia back in 1980 or 81 doing Black Diamond. This is pretty cool. LOVE Eric Carr's drums.

Also, the solo is a bit different than normal. Kind of interesting

Never could get used to the whole wearing curtains thing. Batwings are cool. Drapes, not so much.

Gene Simmons Talks KISSology IV

During a recent interview with Ultimate Classic Rock, Gene Simmons mentions the long awaited KISSology IV. Gene states:

"There’s also going to be a 10-hour DVD called ‘Monster’ coming out, which is going to be ‘Kissology’ number four, the fourth one in our series. The first three sold 20-times platinum – they’re monsters.’"

Look for 'Monster' KISSology IV to come out in September or October of this year coinciding with the release of the album and coffee table book.

I see that Paul Stanley and I totally see eye to eye on the topic of celebs/musicians/whatever spouting off about their political views and agenda:

Paul Stanley said:
The singer says, “I certainly have my own opinions, but to stand up and think I have some sort of transfusion of knowledge on subjects I’m not that familiar with? It’s embarrassing and astonishing to see people given media coverage who don’t deserve it. There’s nothing more embarrassing than seeing people who’ve become famous in film or music suddenly feeling they’re in a position to have qualified opinions about anything other than music.

Stanley says he’s surprised that anyone would take a celebrity speaking about politics seriously. He adds, “That’s not a sleight to anybody who’s close to me — that’s my astonishment at what I see on television. Does it really matter what somebody who has a hit record thinks of the political scene? It’s absurd to me.”

Right on Paul! :cheers2

Another cool old shot. I've seen this before, but it's been a while. This was the image that was used for the cover of their third album, Dressed To Kill, of course, before they touched it up for what eventually ended up being the final album cover image:

Always loved the car turning behind Gene. Back when they were still so new, I pictured people like that driving by and being all WTF?! :wtf:
