^^^:heheh: Maybe he could hitch to junction 29 on the M1 and I could pick him up on my way to Clumber Park. There's a tribute band on as well British Pink Floyd ???

Junction 29? That's nearly 170 miles from here. :bonk:

It is far away, LG. :heheh:

I have to agree I'm not a big fan of tribute bands, I'd sooner hear them play their own original gear to be honest :D

Nolo just thumb a trucker heading North you'll be sound.:cheers2

^^^:heheh: There's no such thing as just swinging by in the UK all the roads are heaving and the M1 is a traffic jam nightmare at certain times. Too many people on a tiny Island LG. Anyway Nolo you are on the doorstep for London you will have the pick of top bands down there.:grinthumb

^^I have to admit I get claustrophobic thinking about you all packed together like sardines...

Us barbarians are used to plenty of wide open spaces.;)

But you have the right of it Mighty Ent, London isn't that far from Reading so Nolo will have to make do with their festivals...when he can tear himself away from his Rickenbacker that is.:D

^^^ It'll be a busy summer down there on the roads what with the Olympics I would imagine.

The guy that plays guitar in Ian Anderson's other project is the bloke that played with Greg Lake I reckon .. if so he's a real talented musician.

^^I'd forgotten about that...you know I don't care about the Olympics at all anymore. If we win 100 medals or 0 makes no difference to me, whatever true spirit the games used to have has long since been corrupted by the politics and avarice of the people running the show. But for my English friends sake I hope they do well both hosting and get some medals for their efforts.:cheers2

^^^There will be a lot of revenue and no mistake, lots of small local businesses could do well out of it. As for the games well I hope it goes like clockwork .. but it's not for me really.

^^Let's look on the bright side that should thin the crowds out a bit when you go vinyl hunting again.:D
