List up your top 5 movie soundtracks with classic rock songs:

1) Forrest Gump ~ This OST has a superior collection of great classics.

2) Almost Famous ~ A movie about music in the 70's is bound to have a kickass soundtrack!

3) Blow ~ I didn't like the movie but the soundtrack is awesome.

4) Zodiac ~ The soundtrack is kinda fitting to a serial killer, but suprisingly great songs.

5) The Graduate ~ A tribute to Simon & Garfunkle. Contains songs by them you will only hear on the soundtrack.

Love that one Flower, can't believe I forgot about it. The movie was good too, although the ending was a little too much for me...lol.

The first time I ever really noticed the rock music in a soundtrack was when remastered versions of "Satisfaction" by the Rolling Stones and "The End" by the Doors were played on "Apocalypse Now".

Another Classic Movie as well as classic soundtrack:

Breakfast Club ~ That Simple Minds song "Don't You Forget About Me" gets stuck in my head after seeing this movie!
