Appreciate the suggestions, Ill do as TheWhalerfan suggests and listen to some stuff on youtube, Ill know which one I want to get that way. :)

I played the first three albums back to back yesterday just brilliant, I like all the Rush gear but the 70's output really gets my vote, what a trip.

I love their later stuff. The way I see it, it may not be up to par with the early stuff, but they're still better than much of the other stuff released during the same period.

Ended up starting at the beginning with the first album Rush.
Makes sense to start there I suppose lol

You're probably better off than I am what with going in chronological order Riffy. I started with Moving Pictures and later added 2112, Presto, Roll the Bones and my latest addition A Farewell to Kings. Not sure if it is a wise decision to buy them out of order or not. Did the same with Led Zeppelin way back when and it sort of gave me a different feel for their style. I suppose the changes Rush's stuff will be more obvious the way I did it and more gradual your way? We'll see. :cheers2

I doubt it really matters to go out of order, I might do that myself going by albums people here seem to recommend the most. :)
