Us Against the World was the first track I'd heard besides the official single releases and I was instantly captivated by it. It's simply gorgeous, stripped down and simple yet touching. Hurts Like Heaven is good but you have to listen to the Mylo Xyloto intro at the very beginning along with it. :)

Definitely.

Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall just got finished playing and I am in love with it from the get go. I need to listen to that one again once I finish with the album. It's got a very upbeat feel to it.

I'm starting to notice that this album has a lot of different Coldplay feels to it all put into one album. Which definitely isn't a bad thing. It has different themes, some slow Coldplay, some fast paced Coldplay, it's a pretty well put together album in that sense.

I have to admit it took me a LONG time to warm up to Every Teardrop is a Waterfall. I guess some songs just take longer to grow on you. I like it more than Paradise actually. Have you seen the video for Paradise? Totally out there. :heheh:

Watched about the first 45 seconds of that, and this is the only smiley that could match how I feel: :wtf:

Definitely has a different feel to it, guess they wanted to be far out and unique, and I think they achieved that quite well.

A Ruse of Blood To The Head is always going to have a special place in my collection. This album is just incredible from start to finish. It has everything I love about Coldplay, be it slow songs or fast catchy songs. Chris Martin at his finest in my opinion, or at least it's one of his finest moments throughout an album.

^Martin sounds amazing throughout that entire song. It's also very catchy. One of my favorites.

Also, this one will always be in my top 5:

This song just took me by surprise a little bit. I don't think i've given Viva La Vida a full listen through in quite some time, because I don't really remember how catchy and fun this song was. But I love it:

Great way to end the album. There's also a hidden track on the same track as well apparently.

^^^ I wonder if their tickets are still as pricey as they were back in '05. I remember they were going for like $200! :wtf:

Going over Mylo Xyloto again. I think this song is a little more conventionally "rock" for them. I still think MX was a great album no matter what the naysayers may think...
