Re: Physical Graffiti

Sick Again is the best song off the album.

Then Kashmir, Houses of the Holy, Ten Years Gone

Wish I had got this one before Coda.
This album is much better.

Sick Again is a no frills straightforward rock song. Nothing grandiose and subtle as a wrecking ball.

Wish I had got this one before Coda.

Coda is a posthumous hodge podge collection. I think the band cobbled it together as they owed one more album to the record company.

Re: Physical Graffiti

This would be my favorite Zep album if it wasn't so darn long. My musical attention span is about 70 minutes. Any more and it's hard for me to make it through an album, no matter how good, in one sitting. That's about the only thing negative I have to say about Physical Graffiti, rock solid from top to bottom. And it feels more ambitious, rather than inadvertently great, than anything Zeppelin had done up to that point.

Re: Physical Graffiti

Have to say this album has taken its spot as my new favourite Led Zep album.

This is my favorite album of all time. 'In My Time of Dying' is just a monster and the groove of 'The Rover' is brilliant. 'In The Light' always takes me to another time in my life. The music on this album is simply a band at its peak creatively and the best moments are almost magical.
