I noticed I'm not allowed to post in the Serious Discussions and Debates section. Do you need to post a certain amount of times or be here for a certain amount of time?

No it was closed permanently MM...too many fights and spill over into the music threads and grudges between members. I enjoy a good discussion myself and don't take it personally but many people just get too emotional.

Maybe you could reopen it but require everyone posting there to be hopped up on valium and whiskey. Cut down on the arguing. They'll just smile and drool at each other.

I was the only one who wanted to keep it open, or make it an invitation only sub-forum, but in the end we just thought we'd better concentrate on music and having a good time and leave the "brawling" to political and general chat sites.
