Bands or performers that everyone seems to like but you can't stand.

For me it's,

Steve Miller

Bruce Springsteen

Rush

Tom Petty.

Heres my list

AC/DC
Van Halen

KISS

Yes there is a band I really don't like that has a following. "Yes" is the band. My wife bought me the Ultimate Yes cd for Christmas and I am really trying to get into but it's hard. What an annoying voice. It's like fingernails on a chalkboard. Everytime I listen I end up feeling like I want to go break something. I don't dare listen to them while driving.

there's a lot of popular music i don't like. i don't waste energy hating them though, i just ignore their crap and listen to the shit i like.

although nickelback gets on my nerves when i hear them on the radio. same with 'new' red hot chili peppers (which makes me really sad on the inside because they're the reason i wanted to play music in the first place)

Damn, I forgot Nickelback. Put in their sound-a-like scabs Creed also. I also have to agree that the last 3 albums of Red Hot Chilli Peppers have been dismal. It's hard to ignore some crappy music when it's played almost everywhere you go.
