Very nice list. Huge thumbs up for Led Zepplin and The Beatles. However there are many bands out there that have great fashion sense. Here's a few I feel were overlooked.










Captain Beefheart and His Magic Band

The Captain had such exquisite taste in fashion. The same goes for his band mates.



Black Sabbath

The godfathers of Metal in their dark fashionable glory!


Rush
Love their taste in clothing for the 1970s!



Judas Priest

These guys, Rob Halford in particular, are the ones solely responsible for creating the metal look. It was them that inspired millions of metal heads like myself to garner black leather and studded accessories.

I've always wanted to wear giant bellbottoms.

Actually, I really like menswear in the 70s, more than clothing for ladies. I would have loved to be alive in the 60s, though - clothing for both sexes was outstanding.

Oh I know! To me the 60s and the 70s were the golden era for fashion in music... plus there were some mighty fine men and women from those decades.
