I am familiar with the song but there is also a progressive rock band that has one S/T album of the same name. I though you were referencing the band and S/T album.

^^Only ACID WITCH I know of is a modern psychedelic Death Doom band !?!?!?

^^^Almost too heavy due to the production for my ears. Guitarist Martin Weaver went onto to the Dark for one album, Round The Edges. Heavy yet melodic and progressive and better produced.

^^Both repeats, WICKED LADY and THE DARK are repeats of posts already in this thread but good ones none the less . :grinthumb

I wouldn't called Wicked Lady the heaviest 70's band at all. Sloppy ? Yes ..heavy ? kinda. Enjoyable just the same...

SUDDEN DEATH , BEDEMON and others ( including early Sabbath, Deep Purple's In Rock ) are much heavier to these ears
