Meat Loaf and Jim Steinman struck gold with "Bat Out Of Hell" back in 1977. Now granted it started as a trickle but one way or another an album that was written off by practically everyone managed to rise to become one of the highest selling albums ever and was launched in the heart of the punk movement of all times.
After over a decade of numerous issues Meat and Jim got back together and took the world by storm a second time with "Bat Out Of Hell II" and once again it was shrugged off. Yet again however the album snowballed into a mega hit and topped charts worldwide when grunge and hip-hop were the popular things to listen to, which is definitely not anywhere near Meat's music.
Now my question to you is do you think Meat can rise back to the top a third time or after the limited level of success of "Bat III" do you that was his last hoora high up on the charts?
