I am happy Johnny Depp has finally gotten a role that makes him wealthy beyond the dreams of avarice and a household name, but the first one is head and shoulders the best of the bunch so far.

Yeppers. I agree loads. :grinthumb

And who would have thought Keith did drugs? I mean it's not like you can tell from looking at him or anything...

He barely looks like the same person anymore...I mean, with a lot of older rock guys, you can still see the resemblance between then and now, but Keith just doesn't even resemble his former self.

^^Good lord those look like the hands of a bricklayer or old weather beaten fisherman not a guitar player...

Anybody that looks at the two pictures Cosmic posted can see what a life of excess does to a person, and he still smokes like a chimney that doesn't help at all.

Bob Dylan, Ian Hunter, Little Richard, and all of these other men who are older than Keith look so much better than him. Even Ozzy is only a few years younger than him and is in significantly better shape. Just goes to show the extent of Keith's excess really.

I think the difference is that Johnny isn't writing books advocating it....or something.

The extent of any excess is really in the mind of the plaintiff.

If Keith thinks its okay to do drugs, I say too late man. If Keith thinks that their okay in moderation, then I hope hes moderating. Any man who wants to indulge in substance should be allowed to, give the guy credit for being alive and still being able to strum his guitar. After all, its hard to imagine old age after a life of drug use, that guy is living a dream I'm sure I'll be jealous of one day.

Mhm, Keef's a big boy and can make his own decisions.

People can say what they will about drugs and their consequences, but all we have is reality, and the reality of the situation is that without all the band's excesses, we wouldn't have much of the Stones' best music, or Keith swagger. And, without Keith's swagger, Jack Sparrow would not exist. So, think about that, Disney.

Depp is a hellacious pot smoker, I guess that doesn't matter to Disney, eh?

And I'm sure that that's not nearly the extent of the dirt on Depp's record. I'm sure that he's far from squeaky clean.

Adding to that, we're talking about a franchise revolving around a man whose number one priority at all times is how he might acquire his next bottle of rum. Come on, now.
