People are strange (and we love it)

The purpose of this thread is to shine a little light on peculiarities of musicians. (Crooked teeth, huge noses, limbs missing, spellbinding eyes, crazy hair, etc.) Little things about them that are somehow endearing but otherwise bizarre and even unattractive.

Therefore, we'll do this in increments of 5-10 but feel free to post more as the thread goes along - even with pictures (in fact, wouldn't that be the purpose?) - of things about your favourite (or just in general) musicians that make them stand out.

I'll begin with 5, in no particular order:

Russell Mael's snaggletooth (which unfortunately was fixed in the 80s).



Serge Gainsbourg's endlessly tired eyes

Buddy Holly's glasses (what a babe!)

Cher's nose before it went under the knife

Patti Smith's littleness - and despite that, she looks like she could kick your ass up one block and down the other!

I must admit, he looks a little foxier with black hair.

There are some musicians, though, that have gone through so many hairstyle changes over the years, that it's almost entertaining to chronicle them.

Ozzy....



This is a real picture from 1981....from what I remember of the story, Ozzy disappeared for more than a couple of days, without know one knowing where he was, not even his brand new wife at the time, Sharon. This was so serious they filed a missing person's report on Ozzy with the Police. He eventually showed up back home by himself days, maybe even a week or so later, with a shaved head - the story goes he was on a long drinking binge and he shaved off all of his hair.

I believe this happened right after Ozzy bit off a dove's head at a business meeting with CBS record executives , THEN biting a bat's head off on stage...

but, NOT before he was arrested pissing on the Alamo in Texas.
