Nai I have occasionally wondered if you was in the music industry cos you know way to much about rock and popular music in general than most normal music fans know ha ha ha...

More with Nai here, I think (realising that E-Z's comments were light-hearted); always on the look out for new stuff to get into (but then seem to always go back to the stuff of my youth). I'm slightly worried posting certain stuff cos I know some of it isn't 'classic' or even, necessarily 'good'. And I know that some of the views i may post about 'classic' bands are against the grain and may wind some people up! I'm always happy to have my 'mistakes' pointed out to me! However, so long as everyone realises we're just posting our views / thoughts (not necessarily regarding them as statements of truth) then all's well.
And I'm a new-comer - I don't know all that's gone before, all your (musical) view-points, or how well you all know each other. I do quite often find myself in the role of devil's advocate (and often misunderstood I think! - currently divorced!).

Women and guitars Nai?. I like to quote Rick Derringer's song Guitars And Women in the lyric-

"Guitars and women they take so much and cost so damn much" ha ha ha... no offence meant girl's.

As for the Epiphone Firebird yeah it's going good I mainly wanted it for slide guitar with it's 'flat fret board' plus Johnny Winter had 6 Gibson Firebirds and after Jimi Johnny was tops!.

Regarding Jimi Hendrix thanks for the compliment that comes from studying the man for the last 40 years.

Everyone posting their favourite stuff (whether the comment was right or wrong) is not necessarily just a negative - seeing other peoples favourites, or 'other' bands within lists of stuff you're familiar with [or just someone raving about such-and-such], does send you off to check out new stuff (or listen again to stuff you've not paid enough attention to) - Just listening to First Aid Kit after seeing a couple of mentions. Still not getting the later Rainbow stuff [E-Z]. So much stuff to listen to - and I'm supposed to be working....!!
