Not the slick kinda pop but the dam catchy, hear it once and you're singing along by the end kind of pop.
A true talent if you can write and make songs like that. I posted Marshall Crenshaw on another thread who I think is one of the best, so now I'm posting another of my favorites - Fountains of Wayne. You'll love 'em even more if you grew up in the Tri-State area since there are bonus references throughout many of their songs.

Here's my favorite of theirs (although there are many) - Red Dragon Tattoo
