Youssou N'Dour (??)

This guy has a music career going back to the 80s and you can read about him on Wikipedia, though he probably fits under the category of World Music.

To be honest I didn't know who this guy was till now, though he has a little well known song which just popped into my head for some reason and it's not a bad little song, though it does have a bit of a Pop Beat to it.



I was just surprised that it wasn't mentioned in here before, the search engine returned nothing, so I don't know if it's on the blink or what.

I'm very familiar with Youssou N'Dour. He toured with Peter Gabriel during the "So" tour which I saw live in 1987. I liked his style and voice so much I went out and bought a couple of solo CD's. Did not keep up with him much after about 1990.
