Supposedly tomorrow nights show [Friday at Wembley] is the last one with the reunion line-up.

I am glad for your friend's sake that they are getting to see the very last show of the Real Beach Boys, but I can't imagine how the 3 of them he fired are going to feel when they are sitting in the dressing room before the concert and then take the stage with the guy who's megalomania and lack of class knows no bounds.

Can you imagine?

I don't think I'd be able to take the stage.

^^I agree RS, most likely I would be a consummate professional and do my very best work to ensure the fans enjoy the show. Then after we left the stage I would get my "posse" to provide a perimeter and give Mike Love a sound thrashing which he richly deserves.:box:

Yeah my hockey/football instincts are showing again.:D

^^Hope MP doesn't see this...:peek...but it does seem to me that in most bands the lead singer is the most self centered of the band, with the lead guitarists second. J Geils won't allow the rest of the band to tour using the old name, Queensryche is a complete disaster right now, 2 bands touring while they fight out the legal details in court.

If anything it should be a reminder to all musicians to actually pay attention to contractual details, leave the groupies/partying/excesses behind for a few moments and protect yourselves because you never know what the future is going to look like so don't sign anything that gives away your rights.

Well, The Beach Boys do have John Stamos in the fold. :oyea:

Now you're fired.

As far as the last show, hopefully the fired members will take the high road and give the fans a great show, regardless of Mike Love's actions.

It'll be interesting to see how the fans react, don't you think? Heck they might boo the guy off stage.

What ever goes down, we're sure to hear about it. You know the media vulture squad will be flying lazy circles over this show.

Personally I think they should settle the old fashion way. Metamucil at 20 paces.
