Apart from being an actor, he is also rapper. Anyone digging his work? :grinthumb

and my favourite

The reason I created this thread is his music is the best of the time before whole rap/hip-hop went down and keeps going down and reminds my childhood memories.

Re: Will Smith

Nice thread Nololob, not a fan of his music myself, no surprise there but I do like Will Smith, he has grown way beyond his rap/hip-hop and television days.

His wife Jada Pinkett-Smith doesn't like rap or hip-hop either, she sings in a rock band with some of her friends...just thought I'd mention that fun fact.:grinthumb

Damn, Will Smith brings me back. I used to listen to him all the time. I also love Fresh Prince of Bel Air.

Re: Will Smith

Not much of a fan of his music, (or rap in general), but I do find his rapping with the cleanest lyrics you will probably ever find out of any rap artist to be pretty funny at times. :D Not to insult actual fans of his music but come ON!! haha..

He is a fantastic actor though, I like all of his work in TV and Movies. Especially "Fresh Prince"!!

"Now this is a story all about how
My life got twist-turned upside down
I'd like to take a minute
Just sit right there
I'll tell you all about how I became the Prince of a town called Bel Air
In west Philidelphia, born and raised
On the playground, where I would spend most of my days
Chillin' out, maxin', relaxin' all cool
And shootin' some b-ball outside of the school
When a couple o' guys
They were up to no good
Started makin' trouble in my neighborhood
I got in one little fight and my mom got scared
She said, 'You're movin' with your auntie and uncle in Bel Air!'
I whistled for a cab and when it came near
The liscence plate said 'Fresh'
And it had dice in the mirror
If anything, I could say that this cab was rare
But I thought, 'Nah forget it, YO HOMES TO BEL AIR!'
I pulled up to the house about 7 or 8
I yelled to the cabby, 'Yo homes, smell ya later!'
Looked at my kingdom, I was finally there
To sit on my throne as the prince of Bel Air"

(How I know I'm a 90's kid!)

^ That show was and is the shit. I used to watch it all the time, but I don't really watch tv all too much anymore, so I sorta just stopped watching.

Re: Will Smith

Here is Will Smith with Billy Ocean. Billy Ocean is one of the R & B artists I did enjoy in the 70's, very respectable career.
